Sophie and Tom live in England.
Although their civil wedding was held at home in the country of Queen Elizabeth, these lovers of France wanted their secular ceremony to take place in Nice and more precisely at the Château de Bellet.
Bellet Castle is located in the commune of Nice at an altitude of 300m. It is known for its wine, whose appellation will celebrate its 80th anniversary in 2021, and its desecrated chapel built in the 18th century in honour of Agnès Roissard de Bellet.
The lay ceremony was celebrated in front of this chapel at the highest point of the castle. Thanks to the good weather, the toast was held outside to the rhythm of the cicadas, around the vines.
The diner took place in the reception room, which was decorated as it should be. All the guests came from England and shared Sophie and Tom’s happiest day on a very festive note.
